Career Counselling Cell

We have been successfully running a Career Counselling Cell since 1995 in the college on our own in accordance with the UGC guidelines. This Career Counselling Cell was upgraded in the year 2008 as a resource centre by providing guidance and counselling to the students. Information, guidance and counselling is being provided regarding various traditional and job-oriented courses, different types of competitive and pre admission examinations, job opportunities, current market trends and employability in public and private sectors. Besides above guidance, objective of the Cell is to work as a platform of support- service for the students in developing their soft skills, communication ability, personality development and confidence to perform better so that they may face the challenges and rigors of competitive examinations and on-job-training in add-on or vocational courses comfortably and without any kind of stress. For achieving its objectives the Career Counselling Cell conducts seminars and workshops from time to time. Various Resource persons from different fields are invited to deliver lectures and impart one-on-one guidance and counselling to the students.

The centre is well equipped with computers, photocopier and internet facility. Centre is having sufficient reading material as competitive examination books, text books, model papers magazines, newspapers etc. for providing information regarding various career opportunities. The newspaper cuttings, advertisements about job opportunities and information brochures of different Institute are pasted on notice board from time to time to apprise the students with various admission and job prospects.
